Two considered stories a week

Our planned rhythm is Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00, Africa/Johannesburg. A strong story needs a clear source, an interesting question and a useful takeaway. We will hold a story when the evidence is not ready.

Reporting and opinion have different jobs

We link to original sources, identify company claims and attribute allegations. Our perspective is labelled as analysis. A funding claim is not proof of product quality; a public accusation is not a finding of wrongdoing.

Originality matters here

We study references without reproducing someone else's work. Visuals are original, licensed or used with appropriate permission. Conceptual illustrations are labelled. AI may assist research, drafting and production, but it does not replace factual review.
